Listener Mail Women’s Pile, Indian Mascot& Trump Tweets on Indian Heritage Month

Today on the radio program, we read a few listener mails, starting with Hate mail we received about last week’s Women’s pile in regard to lying about cheating men. Then Matthew from Tempe Arizona calls in to our message line at 970-278-5791 to let he know he enjoys the show and corrects us on our pronunciation of the Illini of Illinois and their University mascot. As a former Illinois resident, he is much better equipped to pronounce the words correctly! We play his message, and read the letter he sent which weighs in on the redskin sq**w word controversy. Thank you Matt and everyone else who wrote in for your letters, we’re always happy to hear from listeners. You can download and listen to the whole show by downloading the audio file directly here

In the second segment, we kick off Native American Heritage Month with Donald Trump referring (again) to Senator Elizabeth Warren as ‘Pocahontas’. He does so, referencing her incorrect claim as being decended from the Cherokee Indian tribe. When the Cherokee demanded proof or some kind of documentation which she was unable to provide, Trump at the time began referring to her as ‘Pocahontas’ in order to highlight the fact that she was anything but. Of course this doesn’t mean he is correct in doing so! and we discuss his latest failed attempt. Listen to the show by downloading the audio file directly, and we’ll be back again next week with more stimulating Native Talk radio here at
